Hermaeus Mora is the umbra prince of knowledge and memory, though he cant remember anything he can tell you a lot about the umbra's and their past. As his sphere is the scrying of the tides of fate, of the past and future, as read in the stars and heavens. Some mortals though him to be a void of darkness or a giant mass of grotesque tentacles... As a child he was a tall, silent person who appeared to be intimidating and difficult to understand (To be truthful, he's still like this), but that is actually very playful deep down. Once he hit teen hood he became strict and cold hearted, rule abiding solider Who became allies with a lumen witch, they grew rather close, despite their differences. Though after the war, he snapped and ended up raping her. Due to his tendency to over rly on manuals for orderliness, he finds himself running into trouble when ever there is a misunderstanding. Hermaeus was once a 'normal' creature, but after the war he was captured by lumen sages and became a slave to them. Being sent to a dungeon to spend the rest of his life with a 'Mistress of torture' He slowly became insane and obsessed with pain. After his mistress died he tried to re-create this pain but could not. Instead of finding it on the tip of a whip, he found it in the screams of others and with his brother created the march that ended the war of the lumen and umbra. Imprisoning others he learned necromancy from the lumen and umbra elders. Finding the remains of his old mistress, and bringing her back. But it didn't turn out how he planned. Another soul had entered and turned the skeleton into a cruel and insane woman. Hermaeus ran his clan on his own after his father and brother had vanished. He slowly became cold and heartless, to the point of no return. Sadly due to this he is now stuck with three pups he never wanted. His only friends being Hilarka, a small yet scary mortal, and banshee, a strange alien from another planet. They are more like his sisters than anything, since they can tell him off. He has a secret passion for sweets and cakes and even though he
shows it way to much (And I mean way to much!) Deep down he's still a closet pervert
He wears a pendant around his neck, a good luck charm, given to him by banshee. It used to hand from his crown but as his crown was taken he wore it on his horns until they were cut off. Wearing it around his neck is a danger, considering his mane is made of fire. But he does so anyways. Keeping it close to his heart, where it and banshee belongs
